About Paris Franz

Paris Franz has a degree in history and archaeology from the University of London and a certificate in the arts of Asia from the Victoria and Albert Museum, where she specialized in China. She has worked on archaeological digs in England, Italy, Cyprus and Belize, and has a particular interest in the ways different cultures influence each other.

After a stint in China, she is now a freelance writer based in London, with work published in newspapers and magazines, including The Independent, The Lady, Wanderlust, Shanghai Business Review and The Arab. She blogs at parisfranz.com.
