About Jon Plotkin

Jon Plotkin holds an Master of Science in meteorology from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and a Bachelor of Arts in Math from Cornell University.

Jon has used his meteorology experience during 25 years as a commercial fisherman. He has also owned a dinner theater, and performed duties of director, casting director, actor, food manager, master of ceremonies, disk jockey, sales manager, advertising director, chief cook and bottle washer for the venture. Jon’s also worked as a magazine writer and photographer. He is married with: 1 excellent wife, 1 excellent daughter, 1 excellent grandson, and 1 excellent son-in-law
